What's up guys!! Revminister here!! And welcome to the world of mean machines!
Recently Triumph India launched their 2017 version of their middle weight naked, Street Triple S. Now Triumph India has decided to take it up by a notch by launching their top spec varient of the bike the Street Triple RS.
Triumph says that this bike has the power to conquer the Indian market for middle weight bikes. After having a look at the specs of the Striple S. People especially me had a lot of hopes with the RS.
Well, then what are you waiting for? Put on your seat bealts and brace yourself as I show you the first impressions of the Street Triple RS.
Triumph says that this is the sportiest Striple of all. So what separates the Street Triple from the RS variant? Well, it's the equipment on offer which does the magic!
It is powered by an inline 3 mill producing a good 123 bhp of power and 72 Nm of torque.
For starters we have fully adjustable 41mm Showa BPF forks in the front and a Ohlins piggyback monoshock at the rear.
For maincourse it gets switchable ABS and TC along with 5 riding mode which are reinforced by a slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle and a quickshifter. You also get a fully customisable TFT screen to give you all the information you require.
I was a great fan of the Street Triple's handling....the RS makes it even better with a shraper rake i.e 23.9° and super sticky Pirelli Supercorsa tyres.
At a price of Rs. 10,55,000 (ex-showroom) this bike is an ideal match for some one who is a track junkie but at the same time wants a daily ride to his office!
